Let it Out

Tantalizing ponder meant
to flow into facets
Is diluted with
ambrosial Kool-aid
Communistic equality
marched down the Aisle
Over the threshold of
tolerant compromise…
Marriage of the masses
Mirage of the infantile
Morose of the lazy i’s
Still hungered for love
Lusting for common law
Forever endured
one moment more
Dropped the baggage
Tip-toed out the back door
Dog wagged all the while…

Hmmmmmm okay, well, I get the “ambrosial Kool-Aid” and the “Communistic equality marched down the aisle over the threshold of tolerant compromise”… (social mores and programming of the masses?) but let’s have a dialogue about what you’re trying to say under the poetry, okay? That fascinates me as much as the poetry does. Or perhaps you seek to have your words remain open to interpretation? My take on it? You’re as enamored by the social mores as you are repulsed by them. You want to rebel, and yet you succumb. (I minored in Psychology and majored in the study of Corrections. 🙂 )
