He loved them
because
They were
the perfect distraction

Last night,
I saw my life drive-by,
In an old, maroon Chevy truck…
Bed filled to brim with memories,
Driven away by a stranger.
And I just kept walking forward…
On my own two feet,
In my own two shoes…
From my head, to my heart,
To the table,
I danced the night away… 🌻

A Well Red Flower – part 4

She closes her eyes and her body unfurls on the living green blanket beneath her. It holds her ever so gently. She drifts off to dreams. All the while, the sun, perched in the forest of clouds in the sky, watches over her. He takes the leap and falls for her. Landing upon her, reflecting in her golden hair, he tenderly kisses her cheeks and chest…
As the wind begins to whisper, the sun rises again. Passionately caressing her in tones of a gentle breeze, the wind carries her scent through the ether.

A Well Red Flower – part 3

As the moist droplets of constellations. drip down her nearly bare body, the grass below reaches closer to her, growing taller with its desire to imbibe each falling star.

A Well Red Flower – part 1

She is a well red flower, taking a sun bath in her backyard. Pouring olive oil onto her skin, the birds begin to sing to her. Well before she rubs it in, she glistens.

Let it Out

Tantalizing ponder meant
to flow into facets
Is diluted with
ambrosial Kool-aid
Communistic equality
marched down the Aisle
Over the threshold of
tolerant compromise…
Marriage of the masses
Mirage of the infantile
Morose of the lazy i’s
Still hungered for love
Lusting for common law
Forever endured
one moment more
Dropped the baggage
Tip-toed out the back door
Dog wagged all the while…

Triangulation directed me closer to the stars,
so I took that route towards the sun.
Epiphanies in the clouds

Speculation brought me back down to dirt,
not much to say for the insecurities of gravity…
Justly humbled
Held down, yet together…

Moved back into Mother Earth…
My room in the heart of her womb…
Seasons sheltered in Our home

Listened to the springs and caught the falls.
Illuminated by the silent fullness of the winter Moon
It shines bright as summer in love

=)

I am easily suggestible
(I am told)…

Beside the Moon and Her Reflection

I drown my intuition
to disregard the truth
